What is Wanderage?

Wanderage is a trusted online marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique Experiences around the world.

We believe life is the sum total of your experiences. And eventually, these become your memories. Whether you want to scale the mountains, swim the different coasts or explore local culture, your world is incredibly exciting and we are here to help you along the way.

Wanderage is a combination of Wander and Age. Means - The age of wanderers, travelers, and explorers. This is the place where anybody can come and set off on exploring the world. We believe in these famous mottos-

Who can use Wanderage.com?

Yes you can! We welcome travelers, explorers, savvy locals, guides and everyone from all walks of life — from the most seasoned explorers, to the excited beginners. Whether you are an adventure seekers who are looking for the off-the-beaten path or a local who provide off-beat stay experience, you are welcome here. Our only requirement is that you respect the tribe. 

How can I contact the Wanderage Operator/leader if I have any questions?

Before making a booking, if you have any question regarding an experience listed on our website you can communicate directly with the Wanderage Operator through our messaging system. The Wanderage Operator is responsible to answer all your inquiries.

After you successfully make a booking, the Wanderage Operator’s name, email address and phone number will be shared with you. Nevertheless, you are advised to keep your correspondence on our messaging system in case you need our assistance.

What are the booking steps?

Our website filters and search functions help you find the experiences most relevant to your interests and destination. If you decide to book an experience after reading its contents, please click the “Book Now” button and fill in the number of travelers, the chosen time slot. You will be directed to our secure payment gateway where you can choose to pay by different payment options.

How do I know whether my booking is accepted by the Wanderage Operator?

Wanderage Operators/leaders set up their availability through our website calendar. If you choose any of the available dates, the operator will accept your booking. You will be notified of your successful booking through the email address you registered with us. In the rare unfortunate circumstance that the operator could not commit to your booking, he will contact and rearrange(in case you want to rearrange) directly with you to another suitable time slot. In the worst case scenario when no agreement can be reached, please let us know, we will refund you fully.

Wanderage Operator FAQ

How do I list an Experience?

Listing an experience is easy!
Click "List an Experience" in the header of wanderage.com.   

If you aren't already logged in, you will be asked to log in. If you don't have an account yet, sign up for one and login. You can also sign-up using facebook and g-mail.

Now for Operator Account you need to fill details like your first and last name (which will be shared only after you have a confirmed booking), your leader name (which is unique and shown to the user, browsing your profile), email address and password in “Register Operator Account”.

 NOTE- We believe in privacy, your personal details will be safe with us and we will only share your data (which is required) once you have a confirmed booking.

Complete your seller profile with all the details including your verification id and bank aacount details so that your payment has been made in that account. And hit "Save" so that your operator account will be activated after verification.

Now go to “New Experiences” Give it a catchy title and fill out details such as inclusion and exclusions, price, and describing what the experience is.  Make sure to upload several high-quality photos.

Set your schedule in “Reservations” -- Manage days and dates when your experience is available for booking and/or blackout dates or times when it’s not available.  

Once everything is complete, simply hit "Submit" and our quality and safety team will review your profile and listing. You will then receive an email from the Wanderage team letting you know your listing is live or needs more work before it can be live.

How do I verify my phone number?

To verify your phone number:

  1. Upon login, we will send you a code by SMS (text) message.
  2. Go to the website. Click menu button in the top-right corner of wanderage.com
  3. Click Verifications. 
  4. Enter the code in the box provided and Submit.
  5. Incase you don't get the SMS, Repeat 2nd and 3rd step. 
  6. Click resend code. We'll send you a code via an SMS (text) message.
  7. Enter the code we sent you and and click Submit.
  8. If you don’t see a confirmation message, try refreshing the page.

Who can be a Wanderage Operator?

Anyone can be a Wanderage Operator. As long as you have a passion and a story to tell, you can create your own Experience or Activity on our website and we will market it to the world. Do not worry if you are not sure how to create an Experience or Activity, our website is designed to support you in creating a compelling Experience or Activity. If you have any questions not covered here, you can always contact us directly and we will try our best to help you. How do I create and share my Experience?

Our website is designed specifically in assisting you to create Experiences with ease. After you confirm to be a Wanderage Operator, you will find the “Create Experiences” button on the top of the website. We have built our system with instructions, recommendations and tools to assist you in the process. Once you fill out and submit the contents of your Exerience, we will review it before it is posted on our website. You will be notified via email when your Experience is submitted and approved.

How much does it cost to list my Wanderage?

It is free to create and list Experiences. Wanderage.com will only take a small percentage of your successful bookings as our service fee to maintain our service. We aim to provide the most efficient platform to support both Wanderage Operators and travelers. For details on the fees involved, you can always check your dashboard.

How do I get paid?

Every time someone books your Experience, the booking details and other information will be sent to you via email. Our system helps you track your accumulated income. You can request to draw out any time after the date of the experience. The withdrawal processing time is three working days and the money shall be sent to your account registered with us.
